Thomas Muller after the shocking defeat of Germany in the Euro 2024 Quarter-finals fixture against Spain has hinted on a possible retirement date from football.

After their heartbreaking loss to Spain in the Euro 2024 quarter-final, Germany and Bayern Munich legend Thomas Müller has hinted at a potential retirement from the German national team.

The Spain vs. Germany match was one of the highlights of the Euro 2024 tournament, with Spain edging past Germany in extra time thanks to a 119th-minute winner from midfielder Mikel Merino. Following the match, the Bayern Munich star revealed that he might have played his final game for the German national team.

Speaking to Sky Sports Germany, Müller said: “There is a high probability that this was my last international match.”

Arguably one of the greatest strikers to ever grace the field of play, Thomas Muller has consistently being a prolific figure for both Bayern Munich and Germany in front of goal over the years.
