He cautions against breaking the long-standing understanding between the Yorubas and the northern region, given the crucial support that the north provided in the past election, especially against candidates Atiku and Kwankwaso.

He suggests that preserving the alliance between these groups is crucial for maintaining stability and harmony in the country.

He said, “The issues from the Awolowo era have not been resolved with other tribes, especially the Igbos who to date see Yorubas in a bad light but for the efforts of men like Obasanjo, Pa Adebanjo and to a lesser extent myself who have demanded that fair is fair.
