Release Date Revealed for Fallout London DLC

The highly anticipated fan-made DLC pack for Fallout 4, titled Fallout London, is nearing its release date. However, an interesting development has emerged regarding its compatibility with different versions of the game.

Compatibility Issue with Epic Games Store Version

According to the Fallout London team, the upcoming DLC pack will not be compatible with the version of the game available for purchase on the Epic Games Store. This is due to the fact that the DLC will require players to revert to an older version of Fallout 4, a process that is not possible with the Epic Games Store version.

Distribution via GoG.com

To address this issue, Fallout London will be released via GoG.com, as the size of the DLC makes it unsuitable for distribution through Nexus Mods, the preferred Fallout 4 mod site. Players who own the Steam PC version of the game will also have access to the DLC, allowing them to roll back to an earlier version.

Future Updates for Compatibility

Despite this initial setback, the mod DLC team has assured players that they are working on updating the mod to ensure compatibility with the latest Fallout 4 next-gen update. This means that the Epic Games Store version should eventually be able to support the DLC mod.

Exciting Voice Cast Announcement

In another intriguing development, it has been revealed that Fallout: London will feature a full voice cast for its characters, including the UK Speaker of the House portrayed as a robot in the post-apocalyptic setting. The voice of this robot will be none other than John Bercow, the former UK Speaker of the House from 2009 to 2019. The involvement of such a prominent public figure in the mod has piqued the interest of fans, raising questions about how the Fallout London team managed to secure his participation.

With the release date of Fallout London approaching and exciting updates on the horizon, fans of the Fallout franchise have much to look forward to in the near future."
