Delhi Rains: Several parts of Delhi-NCR received light rainfall today, June 3 amid hot and humid weather conditions. Delhi saw an overcast sky with a moderate rainfall forecast along with thunderstorms or lightning during the day.

The MeT office is forecasting more rain in Delhi. According to the report, the city's lowest recorded temperature was 29 degrees Celsius, which is a degree warmer than usual.

The India Meteorological Department predicts that the day will be overcast with a maximum temperature that will probably hover around 35 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level was 75 percent at 8.30 AM.

The region remained mostly dry during the last 24 hours, with the exception of Lodhi Road Observatory, which recorded a trace of rainfall. Along the southern edge of the capital city, Delhi, clouds began to gather and light rain started to fall. There were rains in Ambala, Bulandshahar, Aligarh, and Moradabad.

Rainfall totals for Moradabad and Aligarh were 35 mm and 62 mm, respectively. Delhi still has favorable conditions for pleasant evening and nighttime rains.

The well-established seasonal monsoon trough passes through Delhi's Rohtak district before moving eastward across the Indo-Gangetic plains. There is also weak cyclonic circulation imbedded in the trough around Delhi. The national capital and its surrounding suburbs should continue to get modest rainfall based on meteorological factors. It is more probable in the evening and early hours of the night.
