Chukwueze Rated Average In Milan’s Defeat Against Newly Crowned Champions Inter

Samuel Chukwueze was rated average for his performance in AC Milan’s 2-1 home loss to city rivals Inter Milan who were crowned champions on Monday night.

Chukwueze was introduced in the 68th minute for Ruben Loftus-Cheek but could not do much for his side.

For his performance, top Italian football media outfit Football Italia rated the winger 5.5.

This season Chukwueze has scored one goal and provided two assists in 21 league games.

Meanwhile, Inter landed their 20th league title on Monday night following the win against Milan in the Derby della Madonnina.

This is Simone Inzaghi’s first Scudetto of his coaching career, having previously won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana at both Inter and Lazio.

His Nerazzurri were top of the table for almost the entire season, dipping down to second only once following a 2-2 draw with Bologna in Week 8.

They will, however, not be able to match the all-time record of 102 Serie A points set by Antonio Conte’s Juventus.

Also, Inter have 27 wins, five draws and only one defeat which was 2-1 at home to Sassuolo on September 27.

The first Inter title was in 1909-10 and the most recent was under Antonio Conte in 2020-21.

Out of their 20 league titles the one that stands out as controversial was in 2005-06, as they had actually finished third in the table that season.

Inter were crowned champions because points were docked to both winners Juventus and runners-up Milan in the Calciopoli scandal.
