Star Trek: Lower Decks Actor Teases Season 5’s “Guest Star List Is Sick”
This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.
Star Trek: Lower Decks season 5 will have a "sick" guest star list, teases Gabrielle Ruiz, who plays Vulcan Lieutenant T'Lyn. Star Trek: Lower Decks season 5 will be the final season on Paramount+, although viewers are just getting to know T'Lyn, who became an integral part of the USS Cerritos in Star Trek: Lower Decks season 4. Still, T'Lyn has already formed bonds with her fellow junior Starfleet Lieutenants Beckett Mariner (Tawny Newsome), Brad Boimler (Jack Quaid), Samanthan Rutherford (Eugene Cordero), and D'Vana Tendi (Noël Wells).
In an interview with Seán Ferrick of TrekCulture, Gabrielle Ruiz excitedly hinted at what's to come in Star Trek: Lower Decks season 5. Teasing "the best guest star list" in the same new episode where T'Lyn, Mariner, and Tendi get "additional good girl hang," Ruiz offers a tantalizing preview for Star Trek: Lower Decks season 5. Check out Gabrielle's quote and the full interview with TrekCulture in the video below:
The guest star list is sick, okay. The people that are coming in that said yes to do it... [squeals]. I’m just squealing for everybody to find out. And then there’s some additional good girl hang again with T’Lyn and Mariner and Tendi. They let us have that again in a very, very different situation. And I think that episode – it all happens in that same episode, and I can’t wait for that specific episode to air because I think it’s the best one. It’s written the best, the guest star list is the best, the dynamic of us trio [of] girls doing the thing is so much fun.
Great news: Star Trek: Lower Decks is coming back for season 5. Bad news: It's the final season of Lower Decks on Paramount+.
