Troops Kill 2 Terrorists, Recover Weapons In Kaduna

Troops of the Nigerian Army operating in Kaduna, have neutralised two terrorists and recovered weapons in Igabi local government area of the state.

The Nigerian Army disclosed this through a statement posted on its official X handle, saying the terrorists met their waterloo at Gama Gira Village of the LGA.

According to the statement, troops recovered one AK-47 rifle, one magazine loaded with 7 rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition, one Tecno mobile phone, a phone charger and a cash sum of One Hundred and Two Thousand, Ten naira (N102, 010) only.

In another operation, troops recovered one PKT gun from fleeing terrorists at Jangeme Ruwan Kunku general area.

The statement said the gun was recovered after troops exploited the general area following a sustained operation that led to the dislodgement of the terrorists in the area.
