Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, in a statement about the present conflict between Israel and Hamas, has declared that Palestine belongs to the Palestinian people, who include Muslims, Christians, and Jews.

Through his verified X account, he asserted that Palestine must be returned to its people.

He went on to say that the decision of whether to drive out or permit the Zionists to remain should go to the Palestinian people.

The statements made by the Supreme Leader demonstrate Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and determination to oppose Israeli aggression in the area. Iran has continuously condemned Israeli practices in Gaza, calling them breaches of human rights and international law.

He wrote, “Palestine belongs to the Palestinians, among whom there are Muslims, Christians and Jews. Palestine must be returned to them. They should be the ones to decide whether to expel the Zionists or allow them to stay. This is our solution that has been registered in the UN.”
