Several areas in Bhopal will experience scheduled power cuts on Wednesday, July 3. Power will be disrupted in Krishi Sansthan, Sakshi Dhaba and surrounding areas from 10 AM to 5 PM, affecting residents and businesses in these locations.

The electricity provider announced that the 7-hour outage is necessary for essential maintenance work on the power lines and related infrastructure. These maintenance activities aim to improve the reliability and efficiency of the electrical supply in the region.

Residents are advised to plan accordingly and make necessary arrangements to mitigate the impact of the power cut. The electricity provider regrets any inconvenience caused and appreciates the community's understanding and cooperation during this period.

Additionally, power cuts and tripping have been observed in the city with the onset of monsoon and strong winds. Discom officials assured uninterrupted supply, stating control rooms are operational and manpower has increased by 50 per cent. 

Last week, several areas experienced power cuts due to strong winds, but supplies resumed quickly. Central discom officials stated that they disconnect supplies as a precautionary measure to avert hazards in case of very strong winds otherwise, the city will get an uninterrupted electricity supply.
