Here’s what’s planned for the month:
- July 18, 2:30 p.m. – Meet the Author at Moreland Park’s Story Book Walk featuring
Cameron Levis, author of “Home is Where Your Park is.” The event includes a story reading and a hands-on activity.
- July 19 - Play for FREE Day!
- July 22-25 – Participate in the Selfie Challenge for a chance to win Holiday World tickets!
Check the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Facebook page that week for information on how to participate.
- Throughout the month
Owensboro Parks & Recreation encourages the community to share their favorite Owensboro park’s experiences by using the hashtag #ParksandRecMonth2024 and #OBKYParks. Submitted images may be chosen by the department to be used throughout the year to show the many benefits of parks and recreation within our community.
