Ogun Road Crash: Two People Dead, Three Others Injured

Two people died and three were injured in a road accident on the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode road in Ogun State around 11:28 am on Sunday.

The crash involved an Ash Howo Truck with no registration number and a Blue Toyota Camry with registration number APP478FS.

Florence Okpe, spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State, confirmed the details.

Okpe explained that the accident was caused by excessive speeding and loss of control that resulted in a collision between the two vehicles.

“The crash involved 2(two) vehicles with the following details, Ash Howo Truck with no registration number and Blue Toyota Camry Car with registration number APP478FS,” she stated.

Five people were involved in the accident: one man and four women. One man and one woman died, and three women were injured.

The injured were taken to the General Hospital in Ijebu Ode, and the deceased to the morgue.

Sector Commander Anthony Uga offered condolences and urged drivers to avoid speeding and stay focused when on the wheel.
