The 3-day July special packaged event of The George Aid Foundation of Nigeria, in collaboration with its USA counterpart and the Rotary Club of Ibadan Jericho Metro, has distributed food packs to hundreds of homes in two communities in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The event, held at Oke Ibadan Health Center and Aperin Community Health Center in Ibadan North East Local Government, saw the distribution of food packs to vulnerable members of the communities, including widows, the aged, nursing mothers, and senior citizens.

The food packs, which included rice, beans, cassava flakes, tomato paste, and other food condiments, were presented to the beneficiaries by the visioner of the NGO, Ken George.

George also donated Automatic Upper Arm blood pressure monitors and Accu Check Active to the two health centers, urging the communities to regularly check their health.

Community leaders, Rev. Solomon Akinnuoye and Chief Gboyega Obisesan, expressed their gratitude to the financier of the program for the food package and medical equipment.

The event is part of the foundation’s efforts to support vulnerable communities in Nigeria, and was made possible through the collaboration with the Rotary Club of Ibadan Jericho Metro and the USA-based counterpart of the George Aid Foundation.
