DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged for a June 25 murder in DeKalb County, according to local police.

Jaylen Bailey was arrested for the shooting death of 19-year-old Kendarrius Spear. DeKalb County Police Department officers responded to the 5900 block of Sutcliffe Square at about 10:30 p.m. on June 25 and reported finding Spear dead on the sidewalk from multiple gunshot wounds.

Bailey has been charged with homicide and is at the DeKalb County Jail.

The investigation remains active, according to DeKalb police.
