OXFORD COUNTY, Maine — Law enforcement officials in Oxford County were searching for a possible armed suspect who is facing numerous charges.
Oxford County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating Jacob Mcgurn, though they urge people to not approach him if he is spotted.
"McGurn should be considered armed and dangerous," the agency shared Thursday in a post on social media. "If you know [his] whereabouts, please contact the sheriff's office and do not approach."
The sheriff's office asked that anyone with information that could help lead them to his whereabouts to call their office at 207-743-9554 ext. 0, which allows you to leave an anonymous tip.
Mcgurn faces numerous charges, according to the sheriff's office, that include reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, terrorizing, domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal threatening, and driving to endanger.
