FORMER president Edgar Lungu says one lesson he has learnt from the UK polls is that when people call for change, they must be allowed to express themselves and shouldn’t be arrested. In a Facebook post to congratulate the newly elected UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, Saturday, Lungu said lessons should be learnt from the UK election. Sir Starmer of the Labour Party swept to power in a landslide general election victory. The Conservative Party suffered a dramatic collapse after a tumultuous 14 years in power, which saw five different prime ministers run the country.
