A viral tweet alleged that IMAX 3D shows have been cancelled all over India, raising concerns among fans. In fact, a cinegoer also claimed that his IMAX 3D ticket has been cancelled. The post on X read, “As of Now IMAX 3D cancelled all over India. Congratulations for bokka @VyjayanthiFilms.”

While some claimed that their tickets were being cancelled in places ranging from Noida and Malad West, leaving only 2D options available for booking.

Now, reacting to the claim, a source told ETimes, “These rumours are all false. The calibration for 3D works differently and takes time. Booking for 3D show will definitely be available in some time.”

Another person on X wrote, “What’s the mess around KALKI and IMAX? I booked a ticket for IMAX 3D and the show is now cancelled, there’s an IMAX 2D show now and my original ticket seems to be cancelled! Should I now watch the film in 3D or IMAX 2D!? I’m so confused :/.”
