Challis resident Michael Bauchman has accepted a plea deal in a Bonneville County court case filed in February.

Bauchman has agreed to plead guilty to a charge of burglary and a charge of damaging property. He had been charged with two counts of burglary and another charge of property damage. The other two charges were dropped as part of the deal. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges in April and a trial had been set for June 10. But the plea agreement means the case won’t go to trial.
