Saxonburg, PA- The Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company is gearing up to host the 93rd annual Fireman's Carnival, a beloved tradition that has been a cornerstone of the community for almost a century. Local business owner Doug Sprankle expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, "We're excited to be helping with the Saxonburg Fireman's Carnival again. It's a great Saxonburg tradition." Sprankle's Neighborhood Market will serve as the main gate sponsor for this year's carnival. Family-Friendly Fun and Fundraising

The carnival will be open each night from 6 to 11 p.m. at the carnival grounds on Horne Avenue, featuring an array of food vendors and thrilling rides from C&L Shows. Thanks to the generous support from sponsors, the gate fee has been waived this year, allowing for free entry for all attendees. Additionally, the Saxonburg VFC will provide ample parking space for patrons, with the recommended parking area being on Horne Avenue across from the pond. Pet Parade and Water Battle Return

The festivities will kick off on Tuesday with the beloved Pet Parade, where pets of all shapes and sizes, from cats and dogs to camels and turkeys, will march from the Saxonburg Memorial Church to the carnival grounds. The parade, a longstanding tradition, promises a delightful display of furry friends in all their glory. Another crowd favorite, the Water Battle, will make a comeback on Wednesday evening, inviting neighboring fire companies to engage in a friendly water-filled competition with fire hoses. Antique Tractors and Sweet Treats at the Fireman's Parade

The highlight of the carnival week is undoubtedly the Fireman's Parade on Thursday evening, where over 400 participants will parade through the town, showcasing a variety of vehicles, including antique tractors.
