CINCINNATI (WXIX) - After 50 years at the same location, a Tri-County area LaRosa’s Pizzeria had its last day of service Wednesday and is looking for a new space.

According to the company’s spokespeople, the Springdale-Princeton LaRosa’s in the Tri-County Towne Center lost its lease and will be closed “for an extended amount of time.”

The franchise owner says he wants to remain in the Tri-County area and is actively looking for a new space.

“I’m the third generation of my family to serve guests here,” said Eddie Meiners, franchise owner at the LaRosa’s Springdale-Princeton location. “We are being very deliberate [in] exploring the Tri-County area for a location that will be convenient and serve our guests for decades to come.”

The franchise said all its employees have been offered positions at nearby LaRosa’s location until the pizzeria reopens.

Guests are encouraged to visit one of three nearby locations for dine-in, pick-up or delivery:

  • LaRosa’s Fairfield - 5130 Camelot Drive
  • LaRosa’s Lakota - 8120 Highland Pointe Drive
  • LaRosa’s Sharonville - 11624 Lebanon Road

Pick-up only: LaRosa’s Forest Park - 663 Northland Boulevard

The franchise has not determined a timeline for reopening.
