Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji will on Tuesday inaugurate a soft loan scheme to support women entrepreneurs. This initiative, in partnership with Access Bank Plc, aims to provide low-interest loans to women-led businesses, offering crucial working capital.

Ekiti State Commissioner for Trade, Industries, Investment, and Cooperatives, Omotayo Adeola, emphasized the program’s objective to bridge financial gaps and boost women’s business ventures, thereby enhancing the state’s economy.

In preparation for the launch, Deputy Governor Monisade Afuye will lead a ‘road walk’ on Monday, 8th July in Ado Ekiti. This event is designed to raise awareness among market women, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders about the benefits of the scheme.

Attendees are expected to be seated at Lady Jibowu Hall, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, by 10:00 AM on Tuesday for the official launch.
