Ola Fabiyi, a 400 level student of Tai Solarin University of Education, TASUED has been killed by suspected cultists in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state.

According to reports, the victim who is a senator in the school’s Student Union Government, SUG was dragged out of a hall where he was writing his final exams by his attackers in the presence of his colleagues.

He was assaulted, stabbed and later whisked away to a bush where he was shot to death on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

The security personnel in the school showed up only after the attackers had fled the scene.

Fabiyi was then rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

It was gathered that Fabiyi was celebrating his birthday and preparing to ‘sign out’ from the institution on Wednesday before he met his demise.

As at the time of this report, the school authorities and police are yet to issue a  statement over the unfortunate incident.
