Although MaXXXine was expected to end the trilogy, director Ti West has hinted at another possible installment.

In conversation with What’s Under the Bed, director Ti West indicated that there could be another chapter in the X movie series. He gave an uncertain answer when asked about the possibility of another movie saying, “Maybe. I don’t know.”

The filmmaker further added, “There is this one weird idea that I have that is kind of… if I explained it, it would make sense. But we’ll see what happens. Let’s get this movie done first, see if people like it. Then we’ll go from there.”

MaXXXine showcases the titular character’s journey in 1980s Hollywood. She aspires to become a star and finally lands her big break. However, a mysterious serial killer threatens to expose her dark past. The star cast of the movie features Mia Goth, Halsey, Elizabeth Debicki, Lilly Collins, and many others in key roles.
