Anambra Civil Society Network has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for signing eleven Bills into law, especially the Anambra Electoral Law.

The leader of the group, Prince Chris Azor who gave the commendation maintained that such has never happened in the governance of the State having eleven developmental Bills signed into law in one day by a sitting Governor.

The assented bills are, Anambra State Electoral Law, 2024, Anambra State Touting Prohibition Law, 2024, Secret Cult and Similar Activities Prohibition Law, 2024, Health Facilities and Accreditation Agency Law, 2024, Anambra State Peace Building and Conflict Management Agency.

Others are Anambra State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission, Law, 2024, Market Safety and Protection Law, 2024, Trafficking in Person Prohibition Law, 2024, Anambra State Private Colleges of Nursing and Midwifery Law, 2024, Amendment of the Anambra State House of Assembly Service Commission Law 2021 and for other Connected Purposes, Anambra State Revenue Administration, Consolidation and Harmonization, Law, 2024.

Recall that Governor Soludo on the eleventh of this month signed into law eleven landmark bills passed by the Anambra State House of Assembly.
