Uhiele Grammar School Old Students Get Maiden Exco

LAGOS – The old students of Uhiele Grammar School, Ekpoma, Edo State, have elected its first Executive Committee to steer the affairs of the association at its seminal stage.

Revd Friday Oseighe Odiamehi emerged the president while Barrister Victor Enaboifoh was elected Vice President.

Other members of the exco are Oleabhiele Samuel Eromosele (General Secretary), Madam Onobhamioriobe Omoye (Financial Secretary) and Ebhomemen Otaigbe (PRO).

Others are Barrister Oboh Odion Peter (Legal Adviser), Mrs Airahuobhor Tina (Social Welfare), Austin Oboh (Publicity Secretary), Wildred Oboh (Treasurer), Umuelin Innocent (Chief Whip), Peter Esezobor (Asst Chief Whip), and Odion Kinsley (Projects Coordinator).

The new exco was announced on Wednesday by Akhere Oboh, Coordinator of the electoral exercise.

The president, Rev. Odiamehi, in his remarks, congratulated the pioneer exco and admonished them to brace up for the task ahead.

He said: “May I now warmly acknowledge all the elected members of the Exco.

“I hereby congratulate every one of you, and welcome you to the task of building our dear Uhiele Grammar School.

“May God give each and every one the grace to succeed in your respective areas of assignment.

“I want to also thank every member of the house for their commitments and participation in the smooth and fair process of the just concluded election.

“I appeal to all of you to join hands with us to move the association to an enviable height.”

The exco will be inaugurated on a date yet to be announced in July.

Uhiele Grammar School, Ekpoma, was founded in 1978 and is one of the old generation secondary schools in Edo State.
