A young woman was crushed after being unable to accept a whopping $1,500 to give up her seat on a packed flight given that she had to make it to work the following morning.

Collins Kaye, who is in the US Army, recorded herself seated for take-off as a flight attendant announced that the airline would be offering the hefty sum to whoever was willing to deplane and take a flight the next morning instead.

'Who's gonna take it? $1,500,' the attendant could be overheard asking passengers - before someone apparently accepted just seconds later.

Meanwhile, Collins admitted via text overlay on the post: 'I hate my leave ends today, cuz I wanted to give up this seat for that $1,500.

In the caption, she questioned, 'Would you get off?'

Collins further clarified that the airline was not only offering $1,500 in cash, but also an overnight stay at a hotel and a flight the next morning departing at 9.30am.

Generally, members of the army get 30 days paid leave per year.

Hundreds took to the comments to swear they would have been first in line to volunteer to take the flight the next morning in exchange for the money and hotel overnight.

'You're better than me. I would've already been at hotel checking into my room,' wrote one.

'I would have yelled BINGO, stood up and started walking to the front,' a second insisted.

'I would've been at the exit before she even finished saying hundred,' declared a third.

'"Yeah my flight delayed,"' a fourth suggested as a white lie in order to be able to take the offer.

'I would've called them and extended my leave QUICK,' said a fifth, to which Collins responded, 'Omg I should have I feel so bad now.'

'I'm jumping over seats,' a sixth fantasized.

'I would've got off that plan so fast,' agreed a seventh, with Collins chiming in: 'Girl I wanted to so bad frfr.'

Collins' story is far from the only recent viral drama around airplane seating.

As DailyMail.com reported, a woman recently took to Reddit to ask what she should have done upon finding another woman sitting in her assigned seat.
