Call center now open on weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) has expanded hours at its Customer Service Call Center, which will now be open on weekends starting Saturday, July 6, 2024. The new hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) announced expanded call center hours on Saturday, July 6, expanding the hours to Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

“Our passengers rely on us not just for transportation but also for timely and accurate information to plan their trips,” said Christopher Durand, interim Chief Executive Officer.
