A coin collector has gone viral after revealing five specific rare design that could be worth a fortune. Here's a list of the ones to look out for in your pockets

Rare coins can fetch a pretty penny particularly if you choose to flog them.

The Kew Gardens 50p coin is well-known as one of the most coveted by collectors. With a mere 210,000 in circulation, it's really hard finding one in your possession.

Either way, having one then selling it could earn you £250, if not more. Now one TikTok user is delighting fans with other coins which could be worth loads.

Thanks to @CoinCollectingWizard, numerous people are scrambling to check their coin collections for these gems. So do you have any of these five coins?

In a recent online clip, he stated: "Hey you with the old coins, check these old British ones that are worth thousands. First up is the 1924 Florin or Two Shillings, this coin has a value of £65 in fine condition and over £145 in uncirculated condition.

"The 1949 Brass Three Pence has a very low mintage of just 464,000. One of these recently sold for just under £500 in fine condition. The 1925 Florin is next with another low mintage of just over a million. This coin sells for around £40 in good condition and over £500 in uncirculated condition."

He also made sure to highlight a rare old penny from 1869, saying: "No one knows how many of these were minted but it can have a value of up to £5,000 in good condition."

Wrapping up his coin showcase, he revealed: "The 1905 Half Crown is one of the rarest half crowns to ever be minted, with just over 166,000." This can fetch anywhere between £450 and £10,000."

The TikTok video has since exploded with thousands of likes and heaps of comments. One user confessed: "I've got quite a few coins."

Another was all praise: "Love your videos mate, so much information." And yet another chimed in with: "Come and take it."
