A Fort Worth woman is facing a murder charge after a man was found dead inside a plastic storage container last month, according to police.

Fort Worth police said in a statement Wednesday to The Dallas Morning News that officers were called June 5 to the 3300 block of Mc Candless Street and found a deceased man, later identified as 52-year-old Dwight Deon Hood, in the roadway. A police report said Hood’s body was discovered inside a plastic storage container that had been discarded in the roadway.

Homicide detectives initiated an investigation and on Monday night arrested Tisha Dawn Hulsey, 52. Hulsey was booked into the Fort Worth city jail. It was unclear if she had an attorney.

A cause and manner of death for Hood was still pending Wednesday night, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner website.
