Molly-Mae Hague added: "Rest in paradise Dillan. Sending you and your family love and prayers. I am so sorry." Actress Stephanie Davis commented: "Oh Amy I am so sorry Dilly you were the strongest little boy and fought so so hard and so did you Amy to make sure you did everything you possibly could for Dillan, both your strength and determination is remarkable and we have all watched and seen that. I know I have no words that could comfort you right now, but Just know we are all thinking of you and praying for you We love you Dillan."

Kelsey Parker, who lost her husband The Wanted singer Tom to cancer, shared: "Dilly you are one incredible little boy My heart breaks for you all. Amy you are the most incredible Mum you went to the ends of the earth for Dilly and he knows that. There was no stone unturned. He was so loved by you all and that is where he found his strength every day to fight. Energy can’t be destroyed only transferred."

Amy took to her Instagram the following day where she emotionally shared how she and partner Oz "poured every penny into Dillan's care". She said: "For 4 years we have poured every penny into his care, every bit of our savings, every pound we raised. I know it might not look like it from the outside but we have lost everything from fighting for so long." Amy set up a fundraising page with a target of £50,000 and has quickly seen donations soar above the figure.

The blogger explained: "I would like to honor dilly in the best way possible, but also in a sensible way. We would really like to take some time away, take his ashes somewhere nice and make up for lost time with the girls. Possibly pay some rent in advance for a while to relieve the stress of this. Oz has carried us through by himself for so long and lost everything more than once, we just need a break and to grieve, and spend some time with our daughters who we have lost so much time with."
