Manchester United have announced the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for €40m.
The Ineos era is truly up and running as Manchester United have announced the signing of 23 year old Netherlands striker Joshua Zirkzee for a fee of around €40m.
Zirkzee is United’s first major signing since Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS group purchased a minority share in the club.

Zirkzee has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2029, with an option to extend for a further year.
Zirkzee, the reigning Serie A Under-23 Player of the Year (2023/24), was instrumental in Bologna FC’s success last season, finishing as the team’s top goalscorer in the league, and helping them secure a coveted spot in the UEFA Champions League.
The 23-year-old Netherlands international brings a wealth of experience and accolades to the table, having previously won six trophies during his time with Bayern Munich.
The Red Devils will now look to complete other targets including Bayern defender De Ligt, and potentially PSG midfielder Manuel Uguarte.
