Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –

Arsenal are reportedly interested in Ajax striker Brian Brobbey who is valued at £30m.

ARSENAL have been one of the most impressive and entertaining sides to watch in the Premier League this season, and with just a few weeks to go, they had a real chance of winning that Premier League title, but it was not meant to be

But there is already talk in the media about who the Gunners could sign in the coming transfer window to help improve the side just a little bit more – with a number of players linked with a move to the Emirates.

The Sun reports that the Gunners feel he be an alternative option for Gabriel Jesus. Despite interest from Italy, it is said the player has his heart set on a move to the Premier League with Man United also credited with an interest.

The 22-year-old has scored 22 times this season and he has revealed that Arsenal are a very nice club and it would be an attractive destination for him. The player feels the same way about Manchester United as well.

Asked by Helden Magazine about his future, Brobbey recently said: “Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, those are nice clubs.

“But, if I stay at Ajax, that is certainly not a punishment.”

Brobbey has been impressive this season and it is easy to see why there is so much speculation regarding his future.

But we cant see him joining ARSENAL, we cant see him joining Real Madrid – but we can see him making the move to Man United.

Arsenal will have a big transfer budget to play with in the summer window and adding players like Brobbey will not make the statement of intent that Mikel Arteta wants to make on Man City.

As we said – we cant see him joining Arsenal anytime soone simply because he is not any better than what the club have right now.

GYOKERES TIPPED FOR MOVE –

Former Portugal midfielder Pedro Mendes says Sporting will have difficulty replacing prolific goal scorer Victor Gyokeres, who is tipped to join Arsenal.

The Gunners have been linked throughout the summer with the striker as they seek to bolster that front line over the next few months – and Gyokeres 43 goal season last year has got many clubs interested in a potential deal.

There has been so many rumours and speculation regarding the future of Gyokeres – but the latest reports suggest that Arsenal are leading the chase to sign the big man and are even getting closer to a possible deal for the forward.

Mendes, speaking to BoyleSports who offer the latest Premier League betting, said:“Viktor Gyokeres has been one of the most successful signings in the Portuguese league and what he achieved in scoring 43 goals and winning the title with Sporting is incredible.

“Ruben Amorin has said there is no chance he will leave but if someone pays the buy-out clause then they won’t have a choice. He is powerful, runs into the channels, fights with defenders and he would be very difficult to replace for Sporting.

“In the Premier League, he would be the typical striker and would do very well. If you look at football these days, he is a young player and scored 29 goals in Portugal last season, £86 million would be a fair price for Arsenal to pay.

“He is different from the strikers Arsenal has at the moment with different style of play so his success would depend on how they want to play. If they change their system to suit a striker then he is the perfect choice.”

ARSENAL have been linked with some big names – but if they manage to get Gyokeres – they will be getting a real goal threat and a man that will score goals on a weekly basis – that is for sure.

ARSENAL ANNOUNCE DEAL –

Brian Okonkwo has admitted that he is very proud to have agreed his first professional contract with Arsenal.

The young goalkeeper first appeared for Jack Wilshere’s under-18s team in the 2022/23 campaign. Last season, he made three appearances for the under-21s in Premier League 2 Division One, keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 win away to Liverpool.

And after agreeing that first big contract – Okonkwo opened up and revealed just how excited he is to have signed up with ARSENAL – he told the club website: “It’s definitely a proud moment for me and my family.

‘I’ve worked hard over the last few years to achieve this. It’s a step for me to keep pushing to new heights and get more successful moments like this in the future.

“It’s really satisfying. The club has trust in me, which is really important, helping me with my confidence. I’ve been here for nearly eight years so I’ve made a lot of relationships here and it’s one of the best clubs in the world.

“My parents have worked really hard and I’m really happy that it’s not in vain. My brother was also in the club and has pushed me forward, as well as the coaches.”
Brian has had multiple loan spells where he has developed different sides of the goalkeeping game at Hitchin Town, Leatherhead and Cheshunt.

“My loan spells were completely different to academy football,” he said. “They’ve made me a better person on and off the pitch.

“I see a long-term future here and I want to keep pushing forward and see more success but be patient at the same time.”
