Hon. Oshogbele, hundreds of defected APC members describe Etsako Central PDP as beacon of hope

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) made a significant impact in Ugbekpe Ekperi with a visit led by the Executive Chairman of Etsako Central Local Government Area, Hon. Solomon Obomighie, and his deputy, along with Hon. Pascal Ugbome. HRH D Y Kanuba, the Eghiegbai of Ekperi Kingdom, Barr. Richard Anetekhai, and Hon. Kassim Abdulkarim, PDP LGA chairman of Etsako Central.

According to Igbanor Anthony A, Chief Press Secretary, Office of the Executive Chairman Etsako Central LGA, the purpose of the visit was to commission a transformer generously donated by the Executive Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki. This initiative aims to improve access to electricity and enhance the livelihoods of the community members.

Following the successful commissioning of the transformer, the PDP delegation proceeded to Udaba, where they were warmly welcomed by Hon. Emmanuel Oshiogbele from Osomhegbe and his hundreds of followers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who defected to the PDP. This significant move demonstrates the growing support for the PDP in Etsako Central has reinforced the party’s commitment to inclusive governance and grassroots engagement.

Hon. Emmanuel Oshiogbele from Osomhegbe said despite efforts by the Etsako Central APC to tarnish the reputation and integrity of Asue Ighodalo and the PDP, these defecting members believe that the PDP candidate’s integrity shines even more brightly. They are confident that Asue Ighodalo’s leadership and the PDP’s vision will bring positive change and progress to the LGA.

Moreover, these former APC members have expressed strong support for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and have praised the selection of Asue Ighodalo as the PDP candidate for the upcoming governorship elections on September 21st. They described this selection as a beacon of hope and a shining light in the political landscape.

Further, the distinguished chieftains and leaders at LGA paid Condolences visit to Late.
