Speaking on the show, Chief Executive Officer, Quadrangle Media Limited, Ike Obi, said the aim is to promote Africa through African marriages and relationships and that viewers will determine the winning couple.

“The contestants will go into the show as boys and girls and they will come out as men and women because the journey will mold them into mature men and women that will understand love from an African standpoint.

“They will be under the watchful eyes of the cameras 24/7 for the eight weeks. We will show daily highlights of one hour every day on DSTV Pop Central and AIT channel and there will be a mobile app where people can stream the show round the clock.”

When asked reason for investing in the reality show and by extension, the entertainment industry, Obi Cubana said: “We are trying to showcase the richness of marriage in Africa. We are trying to encourage young ones who may not have the orientation about what family or African heritage should be.”

Also speaking, Chairman, Board of Directors, Quadrangle, Prof. Gabriel Okenwa, said: “I have sponsored over 30 marriages. I was happy when I was told about the show. This is going to be an unprecedented show.”
