The All Progressives Congress ( APC) has fixed primary election to elect Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates for Kwara local government elections for Friday, 28th June, 2024.

The Chairman of Kwara APC Electoral Committee, Abdullahi Samari disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday

“There is a massive, enthusiastic turnout of chairmanship aspirants for the screening exercise. As the electoral committee is providing a level playing ground for all aspirants, we are screening everyone who appears before the committee.
The Screening committee will submit its report to the party leadership tomorrow” said Samari.

Meanwhile, the party is refunding all Chairmanship and Councillorship aspirants who had paid fees for the nomination forms to the party’s account.

The State Treasurer, Bello Umar Tanko has requested the concerned aspirants to come to the Party Secretariat tomorrow, Thursday, 27th June 2024, between 10am and 12pm noon with their proof of payment for the refund.
