This came in response to a fan’s suggestion that he emulate Davido by getting married soon.

Burna Boy’s response was in reference to Davido’s ongoing child custody battle with his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, and the recent controversy surrounding his late son, Ifeanyi.

The singer seemed to suggest that Davido’s marital issues and personal struggles make his marriage an unappealing example to follow.

He, however, agreed with a fan who suggested Adekunle Gold’s marriage as a better example to aspire to.

The Grammy-winning singer had taken to his X page to share his thoughts, writing: “Odogwu too wise’ who no hear go feel.”

The exchange began when a fan urged Burna Boy to follow Davido’s lead and get married, saying: “Burna Boy, you should start planning for your future by getting married and starting a family. OBO has already set an example. You’re over 33 now, and you need to understand that you’re not getting any younger.”

Burna Boy responded, “Baba make I just dey as I dey abeg, u nor see wetin him dey face like dis?” (meaning “Let me just be as I am, you don’t see what he’s facing”).
