The Director General, Government House Administration, Kogi State, Alh. Shuaibu Oricha has commended the State Ministry of Information and Communications for its efforts at documenting the achievements of the Government.

Alh. Oricha gave the commendation, Tuesday, while receiving copies of Kogi Strides Magazine, the official magazine of the Kogi State Government, from the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, in his office, applauding the Ministry for always rising to the occasion.

“Kogi Strides will help us tell our stories and show the world that we have a Governor who is consolidating on the achievements of his predecessor. We must tell our story and ensure we market Kogi to the outside world.

“The pace of development in the state is quite commendable, as the Governor is determined to perform excellently.

“I have always been interested in the Ministry of Information because of my passion for enlightenment. I thank our indefatigable Governor for paying due attention to that sector”.

Earlier in his remarks, the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo who referred to Alh. Oricha as a “friend of the Information Sector”, thanked the Director General for his support to information agencies in the State.

Fanwo said the Governor has given all that is needed to make the Ministry succeed and that he will not be disappointed.
