But, I feel like it’s great that their kids have the opportunity to know where they can get help from." Neumann shares, "It’s very nice to know that we have that support and it’s good to have that. I do think social media is part of the deal, but I also support social media in a way so it’s tricky."

According to Dr. Wayne, "There’s lots of different reasons why I think people theorize there may be an increase in anxiety and depression amongst teenagers. But the alarming thing is the level of anxiety and depression."

He asserts, "Anything that allows kids access to a mental health professional without being embarrassed, without having a stigma attached anything that helps them to speak more easily with a professional the better."
