BLECKLEY COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce is promoting patrons to support local businesses through Bleckley Bullseye.

Ken Land, Director of the City of Cochran’s Downtown Development Authority, says Bleckley Bullseye is a new initiative that rewards people for shopping local. Patrons can pick up a card at a local participating business or at the Chamber of Commerce.

Each card has 35 different local businesses. People can go to these businesses to shop or receive a sticker and put it on the ‘Bleckley Bullseye’.

Land says that each patron has to visit 5 different businesses on the bullseye card to enter into the contest. Once five businesses have been visited and the bullseye stickers have been collected, patrons can submit their card to the chamber to be entered into the Bleckley Bullseye drawing.

Land says people can enter as many times as they want from July 1 to August 1 at 4:30 pm. A winner will be announced on August 2 at noon during a live drawing. One winner will receive $1300 in local gift certificates and Bleckley Bucks.
