…Tells Tinubu To Beware Of Sycophants, Says President Needs Prayers
LAGOS – Primate Babatunde Ayodele, the Founder/Spiritual Head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, with headquarters at Oke-Afa, Lagos, has said that Nigeria will only make progress if politicians form a Government of National Unity in 2027.
Addressing journalists at his church on Saturday in an event meant to mark his 30 years of prophetic ministry spanning 1994 to 2024, Primate Ayodele warned that if politicians cannot agree on Government of National Unity, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) should not field former President Abubakar Atiku, or it will be severely embarrassed.
He maintained that the economic situation of the country cannot easily improve for the better by mere prayers, stressing that even if 10 million pastors are fasting and praying for the country, it cannot change as what is needed are practical solutions and not spiritual.
Primate Ayodele, who used the occasion to unveil his 2024/2025 book of prophecy, stated: “Nigerian problems need practical solutions. When you put wrong persons in positions the result will be bad. If someone cannot function, let him resign.
“Unfortunately, Nigerian pastors have continued to pray for bad people in government. Let us be realistic. Nigeria is not growing.”
He maintained that cabals are in control of both the National Assembly and the Presidency, stressing that there is no way the cabals will give President Bola Tinubu free hand to function, adding that if he tries to stop them, his government will not last.
Primate Ayodele said that the current hardship will be continue into 2025 and will push Nigerians to hold massive protests worse than ENDSARS, warning the government to be careful in handling issues to prevent the protests, if not it will turn bloody.
He also foresees a major strike by the oil sector trade unions, PENGASSAN and NUPENG, advising the government to do everything possible to prevent it, or it will paralyse the nation.
The Primate warned President Tinubu to beware of sycophants, who he said will in the long run frustrate him, even as he warned that North will plot a political coup against him, and he will fall-out with the Vice President.
He warned against the adoption of state police, saying that it will contribute to the insecurity in the nation, even as they will become tools in the hands of politicians.
Primate Ayodele also said that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Yemi Cardoso, will have problems, even as he stated that there will be an attempt to increase VAT.
He said that President Tinubu needs prayer, stressing that “a president will escape assassination. The doom that will come is what I am warning the nation.”
Primate Ayodele warned that the cost of petrol cannot come down, even as he said the value of Naira against the Dollar cannot improve, warning that the government should not suppress the media, including the social media.
On sports, he said that Nigeria will make it to the World Cup but that the NFF president should be given free hand to operate, while a foreign coach who has luck on his side should be engaged.
Primate Ayodele said that there are cabals in the NFF, warning that if they fight the NFF president, Nigeria will not go to the World Cup, even as he maintained that Osimen cannot help Nigeria.
