• A doctored photo which many have assumed is Davido has recently gone viral after a blog promoted it.
• Not letting it slide, Davido took to both X and Instagram to fume at the blog for sharing a demeaning photo of him.
• The singer also shared the original version of the photo.

Afrobeat singer, Davido has fumed at an international blog, The Shade Borough for circulating a doctored photo of him on social media.

The original photo shows Davido in front of a mirror, capturing himself in a bathroom selfie and draped in a towel from the waist down.

The digitally altered photo shows a blurry version of a man standing in front of the mirror, wearing a pant, not a towel and it has circulated widely across social media, quickly going viral.

Although the image has since been removed, the singer responded to the incident, expressing bewilderment over the undeserved mistreatment. Davido who also hinted at quitting the music industry due to back-to-back criticism directed curses towards those responsible for the manipulation.

In his words:

“Now u delete it when u knew it was fake! Whatever I did to yall … one day God will reveal it.

WILL OR WHATEVER OR NAME IS NAH OGUN GO KILL U AND UR GENERATION.”

Sharing the original photo on his X page, Davido wrote:

“Nah God go punish THE SHADE BOROUGH.”
