Amusan Delighted With CAS Ruling On Doping Offence

Nigeria’s track queen, Oluwatobiloba Amusan has reacted to her victory at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

The CAS ruled in favour of the women’s 100m hurdles world holder in the case brought before it by the World Athletics (WA) and World Anti Doping Agency (WADA).

The Ogun-State born athlete was suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) in 2023 for missing three drug tests within a 12-month period.

The verdict was later upturned by the AIU panel.

Had the WA and WADA appeal been upheld, Amusan would have miss out on the 2024 Olympic Games and suspended for two years.

“It’s ALL GOD” Amusan said in an Instagram post alongside the court’s announcement.

The 27-year-old will now look to win her first Olympics medal in Paris. READ ALSO:

She came fourth in the final of the women’s 100m hurdles four years ago in Tokyo.
