Artist and educator Patrick Burton has created a safe space for queer students in Detroit through True Colors, an LGBTQ youth group at Denby High School. Supporting LGBTQ Youth: Burton started the group five years ago with counselor Sarah O'Halla to provide a supportive environment for students facing traumas like bullying and discrimination.
