Awka North TC Chairman Restates Resolve To Justify Confidence Reposed In Him

The newly inaugurated Transition Committee Chairman of Awka North Local Government Area, Comrade ThankGod Anago has appreciated Governor Chukwuma Soludo for finding him worthy for re-appointment and promised to keep domesticating his policies and programmes in the council area.

Comrade Anago who spoke to newsmen shortly after their inauguration, thanked the Awka North All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, stakeholders for believing in him to do the job for a second time, assuring them that he will not let anybody down.

The mayor who was re-appointed by Governor Soludo alongside seven other TC Chairmen, explained that he is now better prepared and equipped to do more for Ndi Awka North, in line with the Governor’s vision of building a liveable and prosperous homeland that would be a haven for investors.

Comrade Anago made it clear that with the support of his team and every other relevant and critical stakeholder in the council area, he will ensure that he surpasses where they are now in the areas of infrastructural development, education, healthcare delivery, security, agriculture, social scheme among others.

According to the TC Chairman, his administration will focus more on those things that will bring total peace and unity in the local government, through an all-inclusive administration that would be devoid of rancour and antagonism.

He also promised a harmonious working relationship with the staff of Awka North Local Government, but warned that his government will not tolerate truancy, indiscipline or any form of unwholesome attitude from any staff member of the council, noting that their welfare has been prioritized.

Comrade Anago further urged members of APGA to ensure that they participate in the ongoing online registration of both old and new members of the party which is a novel idea from APGA, and appealed to Ndi Awka North to give him and his team maximum support for them to excel in their new assignment.
