Corps Members Deployed to Kogi State Urged to Uphold Discipline Throughout Their Service Year

Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo delivered this message during the 2024 Batch B Stream One swearing-in ceremony at the National Youth Service Corps Orientation Camp in Asaya, Kabba.

Represented by the Director of Youths from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Mallam Abubakar Abdullahi, the Governor emphasized the importance of exemplary behaviour and the avoidance of indiscipline among the Corps members.

He also encouraged them to take advantage of the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Program to enhance their self-reliance post-service.

Governor Ododo called upon security agencies in the state and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of the Corps Members during their orientation and service. He commended the Corps Members for their academic achievements and reminded them to adhere to camp rules and regulations.

As the 2024 Batch B Stream One orientation course commenced, Governor Ododo assured the Corps Members of the warm hospitality and safety provided by the people of Kogi State. The State Coordinator of NYSC, Mr. Femi Osungbobun, echoed the importance of compliance with camp rules and active participation in all activities. He cautioned against unnecessary outings and expressed gratitude to the State Government for their cooperation and support of the NYSC.
