Before he got his own show, Temuera Morrison first portrayed Boba Fett in Season 2 of The Mandalorian. Pedro Pascal, The Mandalorian, himself, got an episode all about him in The Book of Boba Fett, and now Morrison wants Boba Fett to get the same treatment in an episode of The Mandalorian.

Per Yahoo News, Morrison appeared at the MCM Comic Con London on a panel along with his Book of Boba Fett co-stars, and discussed his character’s future in the ever-growing Star Wars universe. "I would actually like my character to visit The Mandalorian, the Mando fort or something, and come in there and kick some real serious ass as well," Morrison said, emphasizing his continued interest in reprising the role. "The way he did and came into my show, and stole an episode of my show — so I'd like to do the same thing."

The upcoming Lord of the Rings anime film will feature a female protagonist and be directed by one of the genre’s greatest minds.

The Book of Boba Fett follows the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett after his arduous escape from the Sarlacc pit, as he establishes himself as the new crime lord over the territory that Jabba the Hutt once controlled. Morrison’s character first appeared in 1978’s Star Wars Holiday Special and has gone on to feature in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, as well as in the beloved, 3-D animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He, along with Jango Fett were once the faces of bounty hunting in a galaxy far, far away, until Pedro Pascal took up the mantle in The Mandalorian. In fact, despite it being Boba Fett’s show, in title and in plot, Pascal’s Din Djarin got a full two episodes dedicated to him and Grogu to set up Season 3 of The Mandalorian. However, the Boba Fett actor clearly believes his character should still outshine his successor in some way.

Will The Book of Boba Fett Get a Second Season?

Between TV series – both animated and live-action – standalone films, sequels, and more, the Star Wars universe is more expansive than ever before. Characters from shows like Ahsoka and The Mandalorian often overlap and crossover into each other’s plot lines. As aforementioned, this new iteration of Boba Fett was first introduced in The Mandalorian, so it is entirely possible that in the future Morrison could take over an episode of the series. When that may be, however, remains unclear as The Mandalorian has made the jump from television –or streaming, really– to the big screen in the upcoming The Mandalorian & Grogu. In the meantime, fans can still hope that a second season of The Book of Boba Fett will be released, and one of its actors delivered a promising update.

New updates have surfaced about the development of Star Wars: Episode X, including its title and some casting decisions.

Ming-Na Wen, who plays Fennec Shand, a female bounty hunter, said she would love to do a second season of The Book of Boba Fett. "I think the fans and Tem and I think we should all do The Book Of Boba Fett Season 2. I think there’s a lot more stories to be told and it hasn’t quite finished and evolved and there’s more so hopefully - I hope.”

The Mandalorian & Grogu is slated to premiere in 2026. The Book of Boba Fett Season 1 is available for streaming on Disney+.
