Nollywood veteran actress Rita Edochie recently expressed her support for media critic VeryDarkMan, amidst ongoing controversy.

In her recent post on Instagram, she acknowledged VeryDarkMan’s activism and efforts, stating that he is doing marvelously well.

Rita Edochie also acknowledged that VeryDarkMan, like anyone, can make mistakes, and encouraged forgiveness for his good deeds.

She added a personal note, inviting criticism if she has ever used her status to oppress others.

Sharing a photo of Verydarkman, she wrote:

“Mr Verydarkman is a great activist and more, take it or leave it, he is doing marvellously well.”

“He admits that at times he goes off track as the human being he is, please my people my people always forgive him if not for anything, for the good ones he is doing pretty well.

“I love and support you wholeheartedly, not because I want to famz myself around you, to prevent you from making me a subject topic. see eeh, if you discover any oppressing move that I have made against anyone using my status in society, please you can call me out and I will explain.”

Reacting to the post, many expressed disappointment with her post.
