Real Madrid have honoured Joselu by including him in the legends section of their club website.

Joselu graduated from Real Madrid Castilla in 2009 but failed to break into the club's senior team. He was shipped on loan to Celta Vigo before eventually being sold to German side Hoffenheim in 2012.

11 years later, Joselu returned to Real Madrid as a proper veteran after spells in Germany, England and Spain.

Joselu ended his Real Madrid with a Champions League winners medal around his neck. He won a treble with Los Blancos before signing for Qatari side Al-Gharafa SC. Real Madrid helped make it happen.
