In a strategic move to enhance opportunities for culinary arts students, Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) and Schoolcraft College have entered into a groundbreaking agreement. This collaboration aims to facilitate the seamless transfer of credits for students pursuing studies in culinary arts.

The recently announced agreement between WCCCD and Schoolcraft College paves the way for aspiring culinary arts students to kickstart their educational journey at WCCCD and smoothly transition to Schoolcraft College for advanced studies. The program, set to commence in the upcoming fall, is set to welcome an initial cohort of 15 students who will benefit from this innovative initiative.

During the initial phase of the program, students will complete comprehensive foundational culinary arts courses at WCCCD. Subsequently, students can transfer their hard-earned credits to Schoolcraft College, where they can pursue a bachelor's degree in culinary and dietary operations management.
