Wike Hands Over ₦20 Million Bounty to FCT Police Command for Arresting Kidnapping Kingpins

The Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Benneth Igweh, has expressed gratitude on behalf of the management and personnel of the FCT Police Command for the fulfillment of a ₦20 million bounty promised by the Minister, FCT, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.

The bounty was placed on two notorious and most wanted kidnappers terrorizing the Bwari, Dutse Alhaji, and Kubwa axis of Abuja.

The minister’s directive to the FCT Command to hunt down and arrest or neutralize the two wanted bandit/kidnapping kingpins, followed by the subsequent fulfillment of the bounty promise, reflects his leadership and responsiveness to the security and safety of residents.

The implementation of these measures has been highly appreciated by the Command, highlighting the minister’s commitment to combating crime and ensuring the well-being of the residents.

CP Benneth Igweh has ensured that the fund was distributed among the tactical teams and divisional police officers of the command to enhance service delivery.

He also reassured the Minister and the residents of FCT that the command, under his leadership, will leave no stone unturned in the fight against crime and criminality and will continue to work diligently to ensure the safety of residents.
