Naturally, Real Madrid players made the cut. The two names on the list are Arda Guler (19) and Endrick Felipe (17).

Interestingly, to be eligible for the accolade, players are required to play in a European league, which can’t be said about the Brazilian. Why is he on the list then?

It’s because he’s donning Palmeiras colours as a Madrid loanee and will move to Spain permanently in the summer.

In fact, according to Score 90, Endrick is one of the three main contenders for the prize.

The only reason Jude Bellingham is not on the list is because players who turn 21 in 2024 or have won the award before cannot compete. Otherwise, he would sweep this award.
